Our team at Nuffield Health Cambridge HSSU currently have an opportunity for a Sterile Services Lead Technician on our rotational shift pattern, working 08.00-16.00 and 14.00-22.00 plus weekend working. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.
As a Sterile Services Lead Technician, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting in the supply of sterile and/or disinfected medical devices to meet customer requirements.
* Mentoring and support less experienced members of the team
* Managing a team of decontamination technicians to maintain the delivery of a high quality decontamination service within the HSSU.
As a Sterile Services Lead Technician, you will have:
* Good communication skills.
* Evidence of sterile services training.
* Proactively committed to developing own personal skills, knowledge and behavior's. Supports others in their development.
* Communicates appropriately and effectively on straightforward subject matters.
* Records information correctly and undertakes basic data processing.
* Respects and supports colleagues in own and other departments.
* Ensure own work meets the required standards, encourages the same in others and proactively identifies improvement opportunities.
* Effectively monitors and maintains working environments and equipment/medical devices.
* Experience as a Sterile Services in a Supervisory Role is essential.
* Team-leadership experience needed.
