Working Arrangement: Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home).
The Opportunity An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Senior Legal PA – Corporate to join a leading law firm in London within its Legal Operations team. This Senior Legal PA – Corporate role sits within a busy fee-earning environment and provides high-level, proactive support to Partners and senior fee earners.
The Senior Legal PA – Corporate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day legal operations, delivering exceptional administrative, coordination and client service support. This Senior Legal PA – Corporate position requires a highly organised, self-motivated individual with strong technical ability and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities Fee Earner Support Act as a first point of contact for Partners and senior fee earners as a Senior Legal PA – Corporate. Manage complex, international diaries across multiple time zones. Coordinate meetings, calls and appointments, ensuring full preparation for all engagements. Prepare briefing notes, background information and follow-up actions. Manage emails, calls and correspondence professionally on behalf of fee earners. Support with expense processing and administrative requirements. Matter & Compliance Management Support the full matter lifecycle in line with firm procedures. Ensure compliance with onboarding, CDD, KYC and conflict checks. Work closely with internal compliance and onboarding teams. Maintain accurate filing of documents across systems. Ensure matters are closed, archived and managed appropriately. Financial & Billing Support Assist with billing processes and financial tracking. Support WIP monitoring, billing coordination and time recording checks. Liaise with Credit Control regarding unpaid invoices. Ensure correct rates, billing details and disbursements are applied. Monitor estimates and financial performance of matters. Travel & Business Support Arrange complex international and domestic travel itineraries. Provide full travel documentation and expense coordination. Support fee earners with travel planning and business justification. Ensure expenses are processed in line with firm policy. Business Development Assist in preparing presentations and client materials. Coordinate client events, meetings, breakfasts and dinners. Maintain CRM data and update contact records in InterAction. Team & Operational Support Collaborate with Legal PAs, Business Administrators and wider support teams. Delegate document production and administrative tasks where appropriate. Support continuous improvement across Legal Operations. Provide cover and assistance across teams when required. Maintain a proactive, flexible and collaborative approach. Skills & Experience The ideal Senior Legal PA – Corporate will have:
Previous experience in a Senior Legal PA or high-level legal support role. Strong experience supporting Partners or senior fee earners. Excellent diary and inbox management skills across multiple stakeholders. Strong understanding of legal compliance, matter management and onboarding processes. High level of attention to detail and accuracy under pressure. Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and legal/business systems. Experience with billing, financial tracking and matter administration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
