Housing Management Worker
Location: South Hetton
Type: Permanent, Part-time (16 hours/week), Monday to Friday
Salary: £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum pro-rata) plus benefits including Health Cash Plan
About the Role
As a Housing Management Worker, you will support our customers to ensure their homes are safe and well maintained. You will provide housing management services, assist with tenancy and rent account management, and support customers in an over 55 scheme.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct daily welfare calls and engage with customers to support their tenancies.
2. Assist customers with housing benefit claims and ensure timely receipt on rent accounts.
3. Support the turnaround of void properties within set timescales, including physical maintenance tasks.
4. Perform routine safety and compliance checks in buildings and communities.
5. Manage administrative tasks such as updating records, ordering supplies, and arranging payments for works.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in property management or compliance/health and safety checks preferred.
* Proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
* Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help customers.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
* Passion for property and maintaining high-quality homes.
Additional Information
Due to sponsorship restrictions, we cannot currently offer sponsorship to external candidates. The role requires a vehicle insured for business purposes, and an Enhanced DBS check will be paid for by us.
