Job Description
We are recruiting for a Housing Assistant to support our busy Neighbourhood Team. You will assist the team with providing an excellent housing management service, liaising with customers by phone, email and face‑to‑face. This also includes the coordination of a voids and lettings service, managing mutual exchanges and processing utility void bills and other administrative documentation.
To be successful you will have strong administrative skills, attention to detail and an enquiring mind. You must be able to handle a busy high‑pressure environment and manage a varied workload. Excellent communication skills are required, and you must be able to interact clearly on the telephone and face‑to‑face. You will be required to learn our in‑house IT systems; full training will be provided.
A DBS check will be required for the successful applicant as part of pre‑employment checks.
