Job Description:
Our client is a global insurance company that recently had 2 retirees, and therefore we are looking for 2 Risk Engineers to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
* MEng in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical / Process Engineering.
* Experience in oil and gas exploration and production, refinery, petrochemical, or chemical manufacturing operations, or in risk consulting roles.
* Forward-thinking, agile, with problem-solving skills in risk management.
* Ability to work autonomously, curious, motivated, with good relationship skills, and a team player.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
* Attend risk engineering surveys and provide risk improvement recommendations.
* Continuously learn about new technologies like carbon capture, renewable hydrogen, and geothermal projects.
Position is remote if based in the UK, with travel required.
