We are looking to recruit a Payroll Specialist to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and take overall responsibility in ensuring all payroll matters are handled with great care and in full compliance with all aspects of legislation whilst maintaining a positive relationship with each payroll stakeholder. Location is flexible for this role, but candidates should be within commuting distance of our Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Elgin office. The Payroll Specialist/Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for (but not limited to): Process end-to-end payroll, including complex payroll scenarios and ensure compliance with relevant legislation Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current payroll and taxation legislation. Administer auto-enrolment processes, including re-enrolment Conduct data analysis using strong Excel skills Organise and prioritise tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external clients Manage client expectations and promptly resolve any payroll-related issues About You: A leader of your work and your professional learning Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others Previous experience of working with IRIS Payroll Professional/Pay Circle payroll software would be advantageous, although not essential. Relevant experience within a bureau environment or a similar is preferred Why JC?
