We are looking for a COSS / PIC to join our expanding team, working on the London North East & London North West Framework for Network Rail, based out of our Ferryhill depot Your Responsibilities: As a General Foreman at CML you will always work in and promote a safe manner following appropriate procedures and instructions at all times. You will organise, motivate and supervise all site operatives & sub-contractors as well as identifying training needs and competencies of site operatives. You will work on the LNE & LNW Framework for Network Rail undertaking railway maintenance work including but not limited to vegetation clearance and brickwork. You will be responsible for liaising with clients / visitors in a professional manner and where necessary, carry out; inductions, site briefings of method statements and activities, daily inspections and record any changes. This will include taking photographs and record additional works found to the Project Manager / Site Manager and ensure return to head office. Person Specification: The perfect candidate will have: Supervisory experience from within a Civils / Rail background Demonstrable experience of running site teams in a fast paced environment SSSTS PTS COSS / PIC First Aid Other information: • Most of our current projects are regional, therefore from time to time you may be required to lodge / work away • Share driving / Full UK Driving Licence • Flexibility to work nights / weekends • Permanent position • Training & Development provided and maintained At CML, the Health, Safety and Wellbeing of all our Site members are at the forefront of what we do.
