JD Sports is a leading retailer of sports fashion and outdoor apparel, and we are looking for a Floor Manager to help deliver a consistently high‑quality customer experience on the shop floor.
Role Overview
As a Floor Manager you will support daily operations, lead by example, and drive sales, engagement and the overall performance of the store.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding JD service standards, ensuring every customer receives fast, friendly, and professional support.
* Drive commercial performance through effective shop‑floor execution, including merchandising, replenishment, and motivating the team.
* Lead and develop colleagues to maintain high performance, strong engagement, and consistent adherence to JD policies and processes.
* Support day‑to‑day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organised shop‑floor environment.
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous supervisory experience in a fast‑paced retail or customer‑facing environment.
* Strong communication and leadership skills with proven experience supporting and developing team members.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high operational and visual standards.
* Solid commercial awareness with an understanding of how daily actions contribute to store KPIs and performance.

* Passionate about the JD brand, retail trends, and delivering a standout customer experience.
* Energetic, hands‑on leader who thrives in a busy and dynamic environment.
* Confident problem solver with strong customer‑resolution skills.
* Interest or experience in visual merchandising, product presentation, or brand standards.
