Workshop Controller / Senior HGV Technician – Bedfordshire
1. Salary: £45,000- £55,000 per year (dependent on experience)
2. Schedule:10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
3. Your choice of shifts: 6:00am - 4:00pm OR 1:00pm - 11pm
4. AM and PM shifts available
5. Weekend availability as required

Key Responsibilities of a Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller:
6. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and trailers to DVSA standards.
7. Diagnose and rectify all types of vehicle and trailer faults.
8. Attend breakdowns to support vehicles at the roadside or customer premises.
9. Ensure health and safety regulations and safe working practices are strictly adhered to.
10. Coordinate the workshop’s daily operations, ensuring tasks are efficiently managed and completed to high standards.
What We’re Looking For in a Senior HGV Technician:
11. Qualifications & Experience:Level 3 HGV Technician qualification.
12. Minimum 3 years’ experience in HGV maintenance (preferred).
13. HGV Driving Licence (desirable but not essential).
14. Skills:Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
15. Leadership capabilities and the ability to manage workflow effectively.
16. Commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards.
