Overview
Operational Service Manager – Children and Young People Mental Health Service (CYPMH Dorset). Lead the Integrated Front Door, Psychiatric Liaison and enhanced support teams, ensuring children, young people, families and professionals receive timely, safe and consistent access to appropriate mental health support.
Responsibilities
* Operational delivery, performance and continuous development of the Integrated Front Door and Psychiatric Liaison teams.
* Ensure timely, safe and consistent access for children, young people, families and professionals.
* Provide inspirational, values‑led leadership to multidisciplinary teams.
* Lead system‑wide integration and partnership working in line with THRIVE and CYP IAPT principles.
* Direct strategic work at a Dorset place‑based level in close collaboration with key partner agencies.
* Accountable for staff performance within the teams.
* Forge collaborative relationships with key partners across child and family services, building a network of leaders across health, education, VCSE and local authority.
* Report to the Deputy Head of Service; accountable to the Head of Service.
* Ensure the service adheres to clinical and information governance standards, including patient safety, patient experience, effective patient flow, clinical outcomes, and quality and performance measures.
Qualifications
* Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required; the Trust will cover the cost.
* Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service may present a valid DBS certificate.
