Bookkeeper / Management Accounts Assistant| Weybridge | Full Time | £27,000 £32,000 DOE
Our client, established in 1925, offers more than most mid-sized accountancy firms. They combine the service and expertise you would expect from a large organisation with the approachability and personal involvement of a mid-sized practice.
They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Management Accounts Assistant with a background in accountancy practice, used to working across multiple clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, client interaction, and being part of a collaborative team.
Are you the right person for the job?
1. AAT qualified (ACCA part-qualified or QBE also considered)
2. At least 3 years bookkeeping/accountancy practice experience working across multiple clients
3. Confident in preparing VAT returns and management accounts
4. Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and management accounting principles
5. Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks Online (Sage experience is an advantage)
6. Good understanding of UK VAT rules; foreign currency and cross-border VAT knowledge desirable (training can be provided)
7. Strong Excel skills, including formulas and functions
8. Excellent attention to detail, organisational and presentational skills
