Job Title: School Cleaner Location: Harlow Contract Type: Temporary (6 weeks) Start Date: Week commencing 2nd March Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–8:30am and 3:00pm–5:30pm About the Role We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a school in Harlow on a temporary basis for 6 weeks, starting week commencing 2nd March. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils and staff. Key Responsibilities Cleaning classrooms to a high standard Cleaning and maintaining corridors and communal areas Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately Wiping down surfaces, desks, and high-touch areas Vacuuming, mopping, and general floor care Ensuring cleaning supplies are stored safely Requirements Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential) Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable, punctual, and professional Understanding of health and safety procedures An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Working Hours This role is split shift: 6:00am – 8:30am 3:00pm – 5:30pm If you are dependable, take pride in your work, and are available for the full 6-week period, we would love to hear from you.
