We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our network of vibrant nurseries and primary schools across Wigan, Leigh, and Westhoughton as Early Years Assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in starting a career as an EYFS Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA), Early Years Teaching Assistant (EY TA), or Nursery Practitioner. You will be placed at a setting near you that matches your availability and professional development goals.
Key Responsibilities may include:
* Supporting the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities indoors and outdoors.
* Assisting with children's personal care needs, such as toileting and feeding.
* Helping to create a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment.
* Observing children's development and learning, and providing feedback to the team.
* Encouraging social, emotional, and communication skills in children.
* Supporting children during play and structured activities.
* Preparing resources and tidying up after activities.
* Following safeguarding procedures to ensure children's well-being.
* Working as part of a team to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.
We are looking for individuals who:
* Have a genuine interest in working with young children (birth to 5 years).
* Are enthusiastic, patient, and maintain a positive attitude.
* Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Are reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions.
* Are willing to learn and develop their knowledge of the EYFS framework.
* Can work effectively as part of a team.
* Are committed to the safety and well-being of children.
