Are you ready for that next step in your career? We are looking for an Area Cluster Manager to join our team in the East of Scotland. You can be based at any of the sites within your cluster—Edinburgh, Dundee, Thornton or Aberdeen—with regular travel expected between locations. As the Cluster Manager you will be responsible for controlling and managing multiple sites including Galasheils, Elgin, Wick, Thurso and Inverness within your region while ensuring operations are managed effectively and efficiently, leading and monitoring productivity to achieve KPI’s and meet Health and Safety Standards.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. As a regional role we ask for some flexibility if or when required.

Salary up to £50,000.00, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day
* Providing leadership and guidance for management teams to meet objectives, encouraging open communication between them to address operational issues effectively and in a timely manner.
* Monitoring depot operational activities ensuring contractual obligations for customers are achieved, generating solutions for continuous improvement in service.
* Collating and reporting weekly production figures to support internal and customer KPI packs.
* Liaising with HR regarding operational/management concerns and employee relations issues.
What you need to succeed at GXO
* Support and encourage a good team working spirit and ensure leadership teams work effectively and communicate frequently to achieve business objectives.
* Ability to work on own initiative, while working under pressure in a continually changing and demanding environment.
* Experience managing a store and distribution environment or similar background preferable, but not essential.
