Higher level Teaching Assistant –KS1 and 2 – Chichester

Salary: £90 – £105 per day (Dependent on experience)
Hours: 08:30 – 3:30

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HLTA to work in an Ofsted rated “Good” school with a fantastic reputation for inclusion. The school boasts well behaved children and a supportive and established staff. This role would include covering PPA and illness throughout KS2
You must have an HLTA or CACHE level 3 qualification to apply for this role. This would be an excellent role for an ECT looking to take their first steps into teaching.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Covering classes on a planned or ad hoc basis
* Providing EHCP support for those pupils with additional needs
* Teach booster sessions for those who need support to meet their academic targets
* Assisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs.
* Encouraging students to build independence, confidence, and resilience.
* Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment.
* Excellent classroom management skills
