Your new role
As Agile Programme Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple concurrent initiatives (typically £3-£5m in size, 10-30 people each), leading them from initial concept and funding through to delivery.Operating across Product, Engineering and Operations, you’ll act as the key “glue” between teams – translating technical detail into clear updates for senior stakeholders, while driving delivery at squad level.You’ll build and manage roadmaps, oversee dependencies, manage budgets, and ensure Agile teams remain aligned to strategic oues. The role sits within an operations-focused programme environment, covering a mix of regulatory, technical, and automation-driven change.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Proven experience delivering multiple concurrent programmes within financial services (equities/regulatory exposure highly desirable)
2. Strong Agile delivery across engineering squads, with the ability to embed into teams and drive oues.
3. Solid technical fluencyfortable engaging with engineers and translating detail for senior stakeholders
4. Experience building roadmaps, managing budgets, and overseeing full life cycle delivery
5. Strong stakeholder management with confidence to challenge and influence
6. Ability to operate across shifting priorities (regulatory, technical, operational change)
7. Hands-on experience with Jira; exposure to financial tooling ( Clarity) beneficial
