The Best Connection (Chesterfield) are working with a leading manufacturing business based in Worksop who are seeking committed and experienced Production staff to support multiple production lines within a busy, high-volume environment. As a Production Operative you will be required to work within different production areas often being tasked with several different roles each day. A need to ensure consistent quality, safe operation, and delivery of production targets is expected of all potential Production Operative.

Production Operative responsibilities:
Follow job instructions and standard operating procedures accurately across various production lines.
Maintain repeatable high standards of work in a repetitive, target-driven environment.
Meet daily and weekly production and quality targets.
Ensure excellent housekeeping and adherence to health and safety requirements at all times.
Record production and quality data accurately to support continuous improvement.
Work flexibly across different areas of the plant as required.
Skills and attributes required:
Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
Able to maintain high standards in a repetitive environment while working to targets.
Mechanically minded, with an appreciation of basic maintenance and cleaning.
Calm, methodical, and able to work under pressure in a busy setting.
Physically capable of working on your feet and handling items up to approximately 14.5kg as part of normal duties.
Comfortable working with variation in materials and processes, with a positive, 'can do' mindset.
Good understanding of the importance of accurate data recording and following job instructions.
Excellent timekeeping, attendance, and a professional, respectful attitude.

Important information:
Shifts work on a rotation which follow, Mornings, Afternoons & Night. It is mandatory that applicants are able to work every shift in the rotation.
06:00 until 14:00
22:00 until 22:00
22:00 until 06:00
The role pays £14.44 per hour and this is the pay rate for each shift within the rotation. Periodic production bonuses are also on offer once a certain time served threshold has been met, Over time opportunities are also available with rates starting at time and a half up to double time.
