Job Description
Our client, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, is seeking an agency Team Manager for its Integrated Front Door.
This is a 3-month post initially, paid at £41.42 per hour.
The role will involve the following:
* Principal Manger - Integrated Front Door- Children's
* Expected to manage 3 consultant social workers who each process 10-15 contacts per day of children and families requiring support, safeguarding and or protection
* Organising, leading, motivating, and ensuring the supervision of the teams.
* To ensure the delivery and operation of a range of high-quality, cost-effective services to meet the individual needs of Children, Young People, and their Families and Carers.
* To achieve the best possible positive outcomes for children and young people across the service.
* Contribute to the management, delivery, and operation of a range of measurably high-quality, cost-effective services to meet individual needs.
* Manage the team’s caseload including complex cases.
* Focusing on the development of quality in practice, setting standards and the conditions required for successful social work by motivating and nurturing staff, taking responsibility and be accountable for the practice of social workers, and managing the duty function

Requirements of the role:
* Qualified Social Worker
* Fully Social Work England registered
* 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
* Muat have significant experience as a Team Manager in a children’s social care setting.
* Must have specialist Front Door experience
