About the Role
A leading global Lloyd’s broker is seeking a Premium Technician to join their Central Technical Team. The role focuses on handling large global accounts across multiple classes of business, providing technical expertise and ensuring the accurate processing of premiums and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and produce premium/risk bordereaux and submit to the IMR
* Prepare and submit cash and delinked premiums to Xchanging via IMR
* Advise on applicable taxes and prepare tax schedules
* Provide technical support to Brokers and Account Executives
* Prepare, check, and maintain client and market documentation (A&S, closings, bordereaux)
* Manage files, correspondence, and diaries for adjustments/warranties
* Liaise with markets, clients, and internal accounts to resolve queries and ensure timely settlements
* Maintain accurate statistical data and system entries (including LORS)
Key Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in technical processing (insurance, reinsurance, or binders)
* Strong communication skills with a broad technical knowledge
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and collaborative with a strong work ethic
