An exciting opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse Lead working within the South Rehabilitation and Recovery inpatient services supporting patients with complex mental health needs.
Responsibilities
* Work as a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team ensuring high quality individualised care that supports safety and promotes high quality care and treatment for patients with complex mental health needs.
* Act as a named nurse and support band 5 nurses within their role and within the multidisciplinary team, developing coproduced, patient centred needs based care plans through assessment, planning and implementation and evaluation.
* Provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person centred evidence based nursing care.
* Be actively involved in the health and wellbeing of staff, service users, families and carers; be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers; work to ensure efficient, effective, safe and caring services.
* Contribute to all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomes.
* Contribute to the education and development of the workforce and students.
* Participate in staff appraisals, supervisions and support personal development plans.
* Safely administer medications following trust policies and practice guidelines.
* Provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity; be involved in quality and performance, taking the lead on audits, link roles and supporting the ward manager and nurse specialist.
