CRP Subsea are looking for an Inventory & Despatch Manager to take full responsibility for the organisation, planning and training of Inventory and Despatch resources. They will provide full internal and external control and distribution of material and products to meet company objectives, while delivering innovative material and inventory management solutions that strengthen operational performance and make the business more competitive.
What will you do as our Inventory & Despatch Manager:
Encourage personnel to develop to maximum capability and potential.
Use an implementation of modern ERP transactions to improve the overall efficiency.
Ensure a good working environment and security (HES) in own department.
Develop business by analysing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
Monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of all stock movement, packing, and storage of goods onsite and at external storage facilities.
Co-ordinate internal tooling movements and associated costs.
Monitor internal transport costs (multi-site deliveries & collections).
Storage audits with associated teams.
Overall effective control of Inventory & Despatch resources and their deliverables.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory data in the ERP system (counts, adjustments, values).
Establish and manage an efficient supply chain in relation to Despatch & Inventory (and logistics depending on regional placement).
Manage the inventory control process and implement improvements where possible.
Ensure compliance with CRP's business processes.
Lead the Inventory & Despatch teams.
Support local and central supply chain management as required with capacity and capability planning.
Review and track raw Despatch and finished goods inventory levels and make recommendations for improvement.
Responsibility for control of various waste systems.
Control internal/external materials audits/storage and any costs related to them.
Financial administration relating to waste collection.
Management of lease/maintenance contracts on FLT's.
Other appropriate activities as defined by Operations Management.
What are we looking for in our Inventory & Despatch Manager:
Communicate and present effectively at all levels of the business.
Define and deliver on an inventory management model that improves overall cash flows.
Ensure overall compliance and effective utilisation of material management within an ERP environment.
Organise and prioritise resources.
Understand the need to follow and improve CRP's supply chain, Despatch, or Operations Management.
At least five years' experience leading a team within Supply Chain, Despatch, or Operations Management.
Degree level in business engineering or an equivalent discipline preferred.
Certification in APICS preferred.
Proven application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience in leading and implementing supply chain programs such as demand management, forecasting, inventory optimisation, master planning and distribution planning.
