About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and hands‑on Events & Entertainment Manager to help deliver an exceptional living experience across our homes. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will work closely with Home Managers and teams to ensure outstanding events, welcoming environments, and meaningful activities for residents.
You’ll be a visible leader and ambassador for excellence—someone who brings warmth, energy, and a commitment to going the extra mile every day.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Plan and support enriching and engaging events across our care homes
* Help create and review engaging activity programmes with strong community involvement
* Support homes to deliver high‑quality dining experiences
* Carry out regular inspections and observations to ensure environments are clean, safe, and welcoming
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
* Support teams to resolve feedback and complaints in a positive and proactive way
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, sharing ideas and best practice
* Assist with budget awareness in activities and hospitality
* Collaborate with Marketing and other teams to highlight successes and improvements
* Champion a culture built on dignity, respect, independence, and choice
What We’re Looking For
* Management experience in events & hospitality within the care sector
* A strong eye for detail and passion for high standards
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
* A proactive, hands‑on approach
* Confidence working across multiple teams and locations
* Understanding of health & safety, infection control, and relevant regulations (or willingness to learn)
* A positive attitude and commitment to creating a “superb place to live or work”
