The Role
We are looking for a culturally connected, strategically minded and action orientated associate director with big consumer brand experience to work across clients that might include Evian and KFC.
We need a motivated leader with 10+ years’ experience of inspiring teams to deliver fame making campaigns that deliver impact in earned and social, that appeal to Gen Z audiences and excite both clients and agency staff. We want someone with the charm, smarts, counsel and proactivity to manage senior clients, large agency teams and form part of the senior team within consumer brands at freuds.

Key Responsibilities
* Ability to inform and influence integrated comms strategies, and knowledge and confidence to articulate the power of earned in an interagency collaborative working group
* Deep understanding of new media earned media strategies to maximize reach and engagement of campaigns across social, content creators and publications
* Ability to manage a response to a client brief end to end, directing and project managing from taking client brief to delivery of presentation. You will have excellent presentation skills, deck writing capabilities and ability to collaborate with the necessary specialist strategy and creative team to build the response
* You will be able to manage six-figure plus campaigns, lead and inspire a team to deliver above and beyond expectations
* Problem solver, calm in a crisis, solutions focused to ensure campaigns are delivered in time, within budget and on target
* Must have operated as a primary, day to day client lead responsible for the smooth running of the account
* Should be comfortable running meetings and playing an active role alongside our partners across the integrated marketing mix freuds offers
* Providing immediate communications support for senior clients including acting as the primary contact for out of hours assistance when needed
* Proactively nurturing and building internal and external networks of influential contacts from journalists, content creators, influencers, talent, and other relevant third parties
* Line managing and mentoring junior team members, including responsibility for their evaluation and professional development

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Ideally have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in consumer, culture led brand communications largely within agency
* Seasoned and confident client handler with experience of advising at senior levels
* Excellent time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment, managing your own work and that of others
* Experience in a senior management role leading people and teams, and a track record in industry leading consumer brand campaigns
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence clients and colleagues
* Enthusiasm and a ‘can-do’, proactive attitude.
* Ability to interact with and gain the trust of senior clients and colleagues
* Knowledge and ability to articulate a POV on the role of earned, the future amongst a fragmented media landscape and the drive to constantly challenge and evolve how things are done to improve through innovation
