The Role
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in the day-to-day management of construction projects, gaining exposure to all aspects of quantity surveying and commercial management within a busy main contractor environment.
You will receive ongoing training, mentoring, and career development opportunities to help progress your career within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with cost management and commercial reporting
* Supporting the preparation of valuations and final accounts
* Assisting with subcontractor procurement and administration
* Monitoring project costs and variations
* Supporting senior commercial staff with project documentation and reporting
* Attending site meetings and liaising with project teams
* Maintaining accurate records and financial information
Requirements
* MUST hold a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline
* Strong interest in pursuing a career within quantity surveying and construction
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Good communication and organisational abilities
* Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office
* Eagerness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment
* Full UK driving licence
