Nottingham Food Partnership Stakeholder Coordinator

Grade F (£28, - £32, p.a. pro rata)

18.5 hours per week

This is a fixed termcontract for three years.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Nottingham City Sustainable Food Partnership (NCSFP), which is a multisector collaboration aligned with the Nottingham City Council’s Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy (JHWS) for Nottingham, namely the Eating and Moving for Good Health (EMGH) Delivery Plan. Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a central founding member of the NCSFP and, as such, the coordinator will play an important role in the university’s civic agenda.

The role will encompass all of the following, but the balance of duties and responsibilities will be determined in discussion with the line manager:

1. Responsibility for planning, prioritising, organising and coordinating of activity relating to the Nottingham City Sustainable Food Partnership. This will include collaboration and liaison with the relevant partnership members and collaborators.
2. Supporting the development and delivery of key partnership meetings, events, activity, agreements and campaigns.
3. Supporting the partnership members in identifying and scoping projects and funding opportunities as well as in preparing non-research funding applications.
4. Responsibility for coordinating communications across the membership and delivering a public-facing communications plan.
5. Managing, developing and maintaining effective systems and processes to support the effective delivery and reporting of agreed partnership projects.
6. Managing, developing and administering appropriate management systems, tracking systems and proportionate record keeping that inform partnership decision making.
7. Providing administrative support to academic staff leading on projects for the Nottingham City Sustainable Food Partnership.
8. Facilitating effective communication (including use of O) and delivery of tasks within agreed timescales and budgets.
