Role Overview
This is a pivotal position in orchestrating our client's commercial success within the Water Purification sector. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies and leading a team of high-performing Business Development Managers.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in sales leadership, strategic thinking, and team development. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, strong financial acumen, and the ability to build lasting relationships across global teams are essential.
Salary and Location
Salary: Up to £70k p/a DOE + Sales Performance Bonus + Company Car
Location: Oxford area
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
2. Lead and develop an established team of Business Development Managers.
3. Drive profitable growth through strategic account management and market development.
4. Manage marketing and exhibition budgets for optimal ROI.
5. Collaborate with technical teams on product development opportunities.
6. Oversee performance management and professional development of the team.
Required Experience and Skills
1. Proven sales and marketing experience in Water Purification/Treatment, with technical knowledge of water and process treatment systems.
2. Exceptional coaching and people management skills to lead a high-performing team.
3. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
5. Engineering background and qualifications are desirable but not essential.
