Location Bristol (BS4 area)

Experience with printing and mounting is essential
Shift; Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
This role will be a temp to perm position
JDR are recruiting for a Machine Operative to work in a large warehouse and manufacturing site in Bristol BS4 area.
The role: Machine Operating (Print Finishing / Mounting)
The successful candidate will play a key role in the machine operating process, ensuring high-quality print finishing and mounting work is completed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine operating within the print finishing and mounting department.
Setting up, running, and maintaining machinery to convert printed materials into finished packaging or display products.
Preparing and mounting printed sheets onto corrugated board or other substrates.
Feeding materials into machinery and removing finished work efficiently and safely.
Conducting regular checks to ensure the machine is operating correctly and safely.
Working closely with the production team to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
Performing general warehouse duties including stacking pallets, strapping, and using pallet trucks.
Monitoring product quality throughout the process and identifying any defects or issues.
Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience as a Machine Operative in a print, packaging, or manufacturing environment required.
Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to set and adjust machine operating parameters.
Understanding of print mounting techniques and materials.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results.
