Are you a passionate, qualified teacher with a proven ability to support students with special educational needs? We are looking for an experienced Qualified SEN Tutor to provide tailored, one-to-one educational support to children in Harrow.
About the Role
As a Qualified SEN Tutor, you will deliver customised lessons to students with special educational needs, empowering them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Sessions will be conducted in the student’s home or another agreed location, with flexibility to schedule lessons during mornings, afternoons, or evenings.
This temporary, part-time role offers hours ranging from 1 to 30 per week, allowing you to design a schedule that works for you. The duration of each assignment will vary depending on the specific needs of the child.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging, individualised lessons in core subjects.
* Utilising creative and adaptive strategies to meet the unique needs of SEN students.
* Building confidence and fostering a supportive learning environment.
* Providing regular updates on progress to parents, carers, or schools.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* QTS or PGCE in a core subject (e.g., English, Maths, Science).
* Proven experience working with children with SEN.
* The right to work in the UK.
* A current enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
