* The Children’s Advice and Duty Service has been effective since October 2018 and provides a single point of contact for professionals, children and their families who have concerns relating to children in Norfolk.
* Those working within the service will offer consultation and expert advice to referrers in order that safe and timely decisions are made about children.
* This role has been developed to ensure that children receive support from services that are best placed to meet their needs.
* The Children’s Advice and Duty Service Consultant Social Workers will discuss the concerns with the referrer, negotiate and agree a pathway for the child going forward. This may include offering advice and guidance through coaching partner agencies raising the concern.
