Roles and Responsibilities
1. You will have a portfolio of corporate tax clients and, alongside the Senior team, you will prepare and review tax computations from the start of the compliance process to final delivery and billing.
2. Researching (and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of) legislation and business tax matters, including providing technical analysis on the tax treatment of items within tax computations and the impact new legislation may have on clients.
3. Working with more junior team members to delegate efficiently, review work, and foster development of junior members.
4. Opportunities to work on tax advisory projects such as R&D and Patent box claims, group reorganisations, and transaction work.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
1. Holds relevant professional qualification such as ACA or CTA (or equivalent), or is on track to qualify by September 2025.
2. Experience of corporate tax compliance services is preferred but we would consider candidates trained in other disciplines seeking to move into tax.
3. Demonstrates technical tax knowledge and experience.
4. Broad experience in managing client financials and adjusting compliance approaches based on budgets.
5. Ability to deliver excellent client service and develop long-term relationships.
This is a full-time position based out of our Manchester offices.
