Your new role
As a Strategic Procurement Business Partner, you will act as a seniormercial advisor to Executive Leaders and Directors across your assigned categories - across IT, FM and Workplace Services. You will shape procurement andmercial strategies that support the organisation’s wider goals, ensuring value for money and effective management ofmercial risk. Your work will involve identifying opportunities for innovation and cost savings, developing business cases, and leadingplex procurement activity from pre‑tender planning through to negotiation, contract implementation and evaluation. You will use data‑driven insights to guide decision‑making, ensurepliance withmercial policies and legislation, and challenge existing approaches when bettermercial oues are possible. This is a highly influential role that requires strong relationship‑building skills, confidence operating at senior levels and the ability to navigateplex, fast‑changing environments.
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring significant experience in developing and delivering procurement strategies withinplex organisations, including managing multi‑million‑pound contracts and negotiating detailedmercial terms. You will be qualified in, or working towards, MCIPS and supported by relevant business‑related study. Success in this role wille from your ability to analyse supply markets, evaluate risk, think strategically and influence senior stakeholders. Strong analytical capability, excellent negotiation skills, project management experience and the confidence to challenge constructively will be essential. You will also befortable working with uncertainty, managingpeting priorities and building strong relationships across directorates.
