A well-respected secondary school in Tonbridge is seeking to appoint a passionate and innovative Computer Science Teacher to join their successful department from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach Computer Science and ICT across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience. The school is looking for an individual who can inspire students to develop confidence in programming, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Computer Science and ICT across KS3 and KS4
Delivering engaging lessons covering programming, coding, and digital technology
Preparing students for GCSE Computer Science examinations
Monitoring and supporting student progress
Contributing to curriculum development and extracurricular technology clubsThe ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and ICT
Be confident teaching programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
