A highly regarded, multi-accredited regional law firm with a long-standing reputation for excellence is seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its respected Private Client team.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a well-structured and supportive practice known for delivering exceptional client service and maintaining strong professional standards. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload encompassing Wills, Probate and Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Trust Administration and Tax Return matters.
The role would be ideally suited to a Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of four years’ PQE in private client work, who is capable of handling matters independently while contributing to the collaborative ethos of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a broad caseload of Wills, Probate, and Estate Administration files
* Advising clients on Lasting Powers of Attorney and related capacity matters
* Administering trusts and preparing associated tax returns
* Drafting complex legal documentation with precision and clarity
* Delivering clear, empathetic, and professional client advice
* Ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
Essential Criteria:
* At least four years’ PQE (Solicitor or Legal Executive) within Private Client law
* Strong and comprehensive knowledge of Wills and Probate matters
* Proven experience in Trust Administration and associated tax issues
* Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Outlook
* Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
