Overview
To support the Care Group Management by inputting and extracting data from a number of sources in the development of dashboards, reports and updates relating to the 18 week RTT.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the Care Group PTL on a daily basis.
* Monitor the application of booking rules for outpatient sessions and ensure optimal utilisation of capacity.
* Liaise and develop relationships with the access team to support and manage patient pathways within agreed national and local waiting times.
* Interpret the PTL and identify data quality issues.
* Interpret the PTL and identify any capacity issues.
* Support the Care Group Management team by liaising with clinicians to develop actions to address 18 week RTT risks.
* To support the Care Group Management team in developing capacity and demand models for clinical specialties.
* Support the Care Group Management team in the development of service reviews and subsequent service redesign.
* Liaise with clinicians to ensure continuity of service and implementation of agreed local, trust wide and national protocols and procedures.
* The Division of Medicine are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide comprehensive business and administrative support to the Care Group Management Team ensuring effective performance monitoring, service development and operational delivery.
The successful candidate will have experience of 18-Week Referral to Treatment wait list management, management of outpatient performance, preparing high-quality reports, dashboards and presentations along with the ability to extract and analyse data from a variety of sources. Good communication and organisational skills are essential in order to arrange and participate in meetings and liaise with clinicians and stakeholders.

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is an integrated Trust and the only provider of NHS acute care in Walsall, serving a population of 284,300.
