Background
The Mintz Group is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated investigator with 2 – 4 years of due diligence experience to co-manage at least one major client account and expand the company’s executive diligence practice in Western Europe. The role would be based in London and you would be responsible for liaising with clients, intake of investigative requests, placement of cases with investigators, case management and other tasks associated with delivering superior work product. In addition, you would work with senior practitioners in the U.S. and Europe to grow the Executive Diligence client base in Western Europe (and possibly other jurisdictions). You will join a team of bright, curious and collaborative investigators who speak more than 30 languages in our offices across the world.
The Role
Case and Account Management
* Manage due diligence research on people and companies around the world to assist clients in hiring and investment decisions;
* Thoroughly edit and finalize comprehensive written reports for clients;
* Brief clients on findings in a clear and professional manner;
* Grow existing accounts through oversight of superior work product and establishing durable relationships with clients;
* Stay current on compliance and data privacy developments and communicate the same to clients.
Business Development
* Represent the Executive Diligence practice and suite of service offerings at client meetings and conferences across Europe;
* Expand our client base by generating and qualifying leads and sourcing and developing referrals.
About You
* 2 - 4 years prior experience in corporate due diligence investigations (preferred) or substantive research and investigative experience in a related field (e.g. criminal defense, corporate internal investigations, litigation-related investigations);
* Strong research, writing and editing skills, and superior attention to detail;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Experience interfacing with clients and strong presentation skills;
* Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and responsibilities simultaneously;
* Undergraduate degree from an accredited university;
* Knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office;
* English fluency and strong writing skills in English mandatory.

* Grasp of data privacy and compliance requirements;
* Working proficiency in another language.
