Are you a passionate and experienced KS2 teacher looking for a focused, supportive role without additional responsibilities?
We are working with a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in the heart of Southwark seeking a dedicated Year 5 Intervention Teacher to join their team immediately. This role is offered on a full-time supply basis until the end of the academic year, with potential to extend into September.
The Role:
Targeted small group and intervention teaching across both Year 5 classes.
Work collaboratively with the class teachers and TAs - each class is already well-supported.
No planning, staff meetings, or report writing required - just focus on high-quality teaching and learning support.
Perfect for teachers who love the classroom but want to avoid additional workload.
What We're Looking For:
A strong classroom practitioner with excellent Year 5 and Key Stage 2 curriculum knowledge.
Confident in delivering interventions and boosting pupil progress in small groups.
Effective behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships quickly.
Someone proactive and collaborative - ready to slot into a supportive and friendly team.
