Marketing & Business Development Coordinator - Gillingham - Part-time and full-time considered
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a key support role working closely with our partners and Marketing Manager to deliver business growth initiatives and client engagement programmes.
Initially, the role will have a dual focus:
* Primary: Supporting business development activity, including client relationship management, pitch preparation, and practice growth initiatives.
* Secondary: Providing maternity cover for the Marketing Manager, helping to maintain brand and marketing continuity.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Support partners and fee-earners in executing BD plans for key practice areas and sectors.
* Assist in preparing client proposals, tenders, and pitch documents.
* Conduct research on target clients, markets, and competitors to inform BD strategy.
* Support client relationship programmes, including client feedback and cross-selling initiatives.
* Coordinate and track BD activity using CRM and reporting tools.
Marketing (Maternity Cover)
* Assist in the delivery of firmwide marketing campaigns and digital content.
* Coordinate events, webinars, and sponsorship activity.
* Support management of the firm’s website, social channels, and content output.
* Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all client-facing materials.
General
* Maintain BD and marketing collateral, ensuring content is current and sector-relevant.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Manager (during handover and return) to ensure seamless transition of responsibilities.
* Provide reporting and insights to senior leadership on BD and marketing ROI.
Skills & Attributes
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in client relationship building.
Collaborative and confident working with partners and senior stakeholders.
Experience
1–3 years’ experience in a professional services or B2B BD/marketing role.
Exposure to law, accountancy, or consulting firms preferred but not essential.
Experience with proposals and client development programmes desirable.
