Guide Dogs Maidstone are looking for a volunteer Merchandise Coordinator who will be responsible for ordering and looking after Guide Dogs merchandise for our local Fundraising group. Ideally you will have good organisational skills, have a vehicle to transport the merchandise, and have space in the house/garage to store it. You’ll be part of our wonderful Maidstone Fundraising Group and will get to meet lots of new people in the role.
Detailed Description
In this role you will be responsible for ordering and looking after Guide Dogs merchandise. We rely on volunteers like you to help us improve the lives of people with sight loss. Your support will include:
* Ordering and storing merchandise stock within your home, ensuring to check and price goods when received.
* Organising merchandising stalls in your community to sell Guide Dogs branded merchandise.
* Maintaining appropriate stock levels and completing end‑of‑year stock takes.
