Blaymires Recruitment is representing a CIOB Chartered, design-led main contractor specialising in high-end residential projects across the New Forest and surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of bespoke projects, the company is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to help identify, track, and secure new opportunities.
The Role:
This is a strategic and proactive position focused on early project identification and relationship building.
You will play a key role in:
Identifying new high-end residential opportunities through planning portals and local authority pipelines.
Tracking projects from the planning stage through to tender and award.
Building relationships with architects, planning consultants, developers, and private clients.
Supporting the Managing Director in converting opportunities into secured work.
Maintaining and developing a strong local network across Hampshire, Dorset, and the New Forest.
Keeping CRM systems and project pipelines up to date.
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience in business development within construction (ideally residential or main contracting).
Strong understanding of the planning process and project lifecycle
Ability to identify opportunities early and add value through relationships
Well-connected or capable of building networks with architects and consultants
Commercial awareness and a strategic mindset.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
