Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for plant machinery and team development? We’re looking for a Workshop Manager to take charge of our Bedford Depot, ensuring our fleet is safe, reliable, and ready to roll.
?? What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading a skilled team of Fitters and Yard Staff to deliver top-notch maintenance and repairs.
* Overseeing PDI’s, LOLER inspections, servicing, and damage repairs.
* Driving workshop productivity and technical excellence across two sites.
* Managing stock levels and ensuring machines are hire-ready.
* Promoting a strong Health & Safety culture through 5S auditing.
* Deputising for the Depot Manager when needed.
????? What You’ll Bring:
* Industry qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance).
* Solid experience with plant machinery and vehicle repairs.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A full UK driving licence (max 3 points).
* A proactive, resilient, and problem-solving mindset.
