Site based Handyperson (Temporary to Permanent) - Stafford - Global Facilities Management Organisation: FMCG & Manufacturing
CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a reliable and multi-skilled Fabric Engineer/Handyperson to join our FM client’s team on a temporary to permanent basis, working on a prestigious manufacturing site in Stafford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid background in general building maintenance and fabric works who is looking for a stable, long-term position within a growing FM contract.
Package:
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned and reactive fabric maintenance duties across the site
- General building repairs including carpentry, basic plumbing, painting & decorating
- Maintaining external areas such as pathways, signage, and fencing
- Supporting wider site FM operations and liaising with subcontractors when necessary
- Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Handyperson or Fabric Engineer role
- Strong all-round knowledge of general building maintenance
- Basic mechanical or plumbing knowledge desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
