UKCS Group is launching an exciting new Branded Packaging division, and we're looking for an ambitious individual to lead it from day one.
This is a rare opportunity to join an established and growing business whilst taking ownership of a brand-new division with significant growth potential.
You’ll work directly alongside our Managing Director to help launch, develop and scale the Branded Packaging division, with a target of reaching £1 million turnover within the first 18 months.

The Role
As Head of Branded Packaging, you will oversee projects from initial enquiry through to final delivery.
You will act as the central point of contact between customers, suppliers, designers, production partners and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard.
As the division grows, you’ll help shape future processes, identify opportunities for improvement and support recruitment plans for additional team members.
This role combines elements of project management, account management, production coordination and business development.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the final launch and ongoing development of the Branded Packaging division
* Manage projects from enquiry through to completion
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, marketing agencies, designers and website developers
* Prepare quotations using established pricing structures
* Manage artwork approvals and production schedules
* Operate in-house print equipment for selected projects
* Build relationships with existing customers and identify growth opportunities
* Support the ongoing growth strategy of the division
* Help plan future recruitment and team expansion
* Ensure deadlines and customer expectations are consistently met
* Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the project lifecycle
About You
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership.
Packaging industry experience is not essential.
What matters most is your ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, stay organised and get things done.
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience managing projects, departments or business operations
* Experience leading teams or overseeing workflows
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* The ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
* A strong work ethic and desire to grow with the business
* A full UK driving licence and access to transport
Desirable Skills
* Adobe Illustrator experience
* Graphic design experience
* Experience within packaging, print, branding, manufacturing or marketing
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Experience working to targets and deadlines
Candidates with strong graphic design and Adobe Illustrator experience may be offered a higher starting salary.
