The Role
You’ll join a cross-functional engineering team focused on building high-performance back-end systems that power real-time messaging, voice, and data analytics. You’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable Java microservices, collaborating closely with multi-disciplined teams around the globe.
What You’ll Be Doing
Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java-based back-end services.
Building cloud-native applications using Spring Boot and modern frameworks.
Collaborating with product, QA, and front-end engineers to deliver new features.
Debugging, optimising, and improving system performance and reliability.
Contributing to code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Need
Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
Understanding of Agile software development.
A right to work in the UK indefinitely without sponsorship or expiry.
