Marine Football Club based in Crosby, Liverpoolare looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to lead and manage abusy kitchen. The role includes all catering facilities for Marine FC, 1894 Bar and Bistro and Carlsberg Suite. You will be the first in command of thekitchen facilities and will create and inspect ALL dishes and buffets beforethey arrive at the customers table to ensure high standards are set andmaintained.
Responsibilities
Control and direct the food preparation process and any otherrelative activities.
* Develop menus with new or existing ideas, ensuring the variety,quality, and value.
* Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identifiedshortages.
* Report any repairs required when necessary.
* Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training of ALL kitchenstaff.
* Oversee the work of ALL kitchen staff.
* To provide a fully costed weekly rota.
* To provide a weekly report to the General Manager on sales, stock,staff, and maintenance
* Maintain records of attendance.
* Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safetystandards.
* Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between ALL co-workers.
Requirements and skills
* Proven experience as Head Chef
* Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
* Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
* Outstanding communication and leadership skills
* Up to date with culinary trends and optimising kitchen processes
* Fully Experience in all health and safety training requirements fora busy kitchen
* Fully Experienced in keeping records and data and in producingreports for Health and Safety inspections.
* Experienced in providing allergens reports.
* Excellent standards of Health and Safety.
£30,000 pa, plus a generous Bonus Scheme.
Hours
Full time 45 hours per week.
