Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9.00am-5:30pm, 1 hour unpaid lunch break

Purpose of role
The Office Administrator’s principal role is to provide the client with the administrative support they need to provide seamless legal services to their customers and help them maximise the amount of time they are able to spend on fee-earning tasks.
Whilst working as part of a country wide team, this role will be the sole administrative support for the Leeds and Manchester offices. Based from the Leeds office, the individual will be proactive and flexible to work across the two sites, working from the Manchester office as and when required.
The Office Administrator will be responsible for completing defined legal administrative tasks, working within the client systems while adhering to all client processes, protocols and policies.
Key responsibilities
1. Providing a defined administrative service, following standard operating procedures
2. Delivering an exceptional electronic and hard copy file management service
3. Sort, scan, rename, distribute incoming mail to the dedicated centralised filing area
4. Manage outgoing mail, collate hard copy enclosures and obtain approval
5. Provide photocopying, scanning, and printing as per customer instructions
6. Handling original documents, such as wills and deeds
7. Preparing engrossed and certified copies of original documents
8. Preparing electronic bundles for the Courts
9. Raising queries and concerns with designated individuals, as required
10. Maintain all filing and work areas in a tidy and orderly manner
11. Offering administrative support for the wider team network when required or to maximise efficiency
Personal attributes
12. Able to travel weekly to the Manchester office (travel paid for)
13. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and other systems implemented by the firm.
