Your NewpanyA General Recovery Officer job has become available at one of the UK’s leading managed service providers in Bromley. You will be joining the Collections and Recovery Team, providing a full collection and debt recovery service for both the private and public sectors, with the opportunity for hybrid working.
As a General Recovery Officer, your key tasks and responsibilities include:
1. Making proactive telephone calls regarding recovery or payments.
2. Tracing missing debtors via tracing agencies, ThreeSixty, or other available systems.
3. Managing your diary of debts or proactive recoveries, with a main focus on Social Care Debts.
4. Ensuring all work and recovery actions are up-to-date on relevant systems, such as Aspien Debt Management.
5. Ensuring all work processed complies with SLAs, regulatory, and audit requirements to support our service delivery to clients.
What you’ll need to succeed
* Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
* Previous debt recovery and/or credit control experience.
* Flexible and adaptable in dynamic environments.
* Confident speaking on the phone - clear and effective communication.
* Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Actively contributes as a team member and assists colleagues when needed.
* Attention to detail in producing high-quality and accurate documentation.
* Self-motivated and experienced in meeting targets.
