Job summary
We are excited to be recruiting a Typing and Reception Administrator to work in our Mental Health Service.

Solent's Mental Health Services cover a variety of different services including inpatient facilities for both adults and older persons, community services including rehab, crisis and health and wellbeing, IAPT Talking Therapies and learning disabilities.
You will be an integral part of the team, responsible for greeting patients and being the first point of contact. You will support with day to day typing tasks, ensure processes are run smoothly, and other administration support noted in the job description attached.
You will have a caring and courteous manner and enjoy working with a variety of staff of different levels. You will also need to be able to work unsupervised and at peak times able to prioritise a varied workload. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can work effectively using their own initiative.

Main duties of the job
1. Greet all patients, staff, and visitors at the front desk, maintaining the reception area and consulting rooms.
2. To provide typing support and ensure letters are completed within targeted timeframes.
3. Answering phone calls and dealing with emails relating to the Community services the Mental Health team within Solent provide.
4. To work as part of a skill mix team to provide a comprehensive administrative support to the service.
