We’re recruiting a Senior Process Engineer to join our MSAT team. In this role, you will provide technical, engineering and scientific expertise to enable clinical and commercial manufacturing, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Responsibilities
* Work independently on cross-functional activities to support the introduction of new products on existing manufacturing processes
* Take a lead role in defining and delivering requirements for the introduction of new processes, projects and equipment
* Lead scientific/technical troubleshooting and problem-solving activities to determine root causes and identify suitable mitigations to prevent recurrence
* Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support for assigned product(s) within the OXB portfolio and act as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
* Lead client-facing projects as an MSAT representative
Qualifications
* A degree in a Life Sciences or Biochemical Engineering discipline and/or significant proven experience in GMP biopharmaceutical or gene therapy manufacturing processing
* Understanding of health, safety and environmental aspects of the work and ideally experience with process hazard analysis (PHA) methodologies such as FMEA, HAZOP and HACCP
* Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements to enable clinical and commercial manufacture
* Experience using statistical data analysis tools such as JMP and/or Minitab is desirable
* Understanding of process control and automation would be ideal
