Role Description
This is a full‑time, Sales Manager role working from our offices in Aberdeen or East Kilbride. The Sales Manager will grow a portfolio of clients across key sectors, including hospitality, healthcare, care homes, workwear, education, and facilities management. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and upselling. The role will collaborate closely with operations, customer service, and finance to ensure service quality, accurate pricing, and timely delivery of proposals and contracts. The Sales Manager will also analyze sales performance, prepare forecasts and reports, represent the company at meetings and industry events, and actively promote the organization’s carbon‑neutral and sustainability credentials as a core value proposition.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, ideally within services, facilities management, hospitality, or related industries.
* Strong skills in relationship‑building, negotiation, and closing sales, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Ability to conduct market research, develop sales strategies, and create tailored proposals for customers in multiple sectors.
* Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, email).
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Solid organizational and time‑management abilities, including pipeline management and prioritization in a fast‑paced environment.
* Interest in or understanding of sustainability, carbon‑neutral practices, and environmental standards is highly beneficial.
* Valid authorization to work in the UK and the ability to travel across Scotland to client sites and meetings as required.
* Relevant education or training in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
