In partnership with local secondary schools, Vision for Education is seeking an inspiring and committed Teacher of ICT to join a forward-thinking department in Preston, Lancashire. This long-term opportunity is ideal for a knowledgeable and passionate ICT or Computer Science specialist ready to make a real impact in the classroom.
The Role
We are recruiting a Teacher of ICT to start in September 2025, with no confirmed end date. This is a full-time teaching position suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs. As a Teacher of ICT in Preston, Lancashire, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in ICT and Computer Science to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to inspire a love of technology and computing in young learners.
The Teacher of ICT will also be expected to:
Teach across a range of computing topics including coding, algorithms, digital literacy and cyber security
Support pupils in developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to department planning and enrichment activities
